FRONTENAC LC9S
Louis Chevrolet was from his earliest childhood d immersed in the world of mechanics, his father beeing a watchmaker. A keen observer, he enjoys watching his father at work during his work as an exhaust planter.
Feeling a constant need to understand the functioning of the mechanisms which he has the opportunity to contemplate, he does not hesitate to try his hand at repairing movements while his father is away.
This Frontenac LC9S collection, with its automatic skeleton movement, would no doubt also have intrigued this enthusiast Louis Chevrolet.
THE SECRETS OF MECHANICS
Unveil the invisible
Curiosity and the desire to transmit the concepts of watchmaking mechanics to as many people as possible are at the basis of the creation of this new watch; how to share the passion for our profession was the central question.
In order to answer this question, we have opted to integrate a skeleton movement in this new model, thus offering the broadest possible overview of a watchmaking field usually reserved for the high-end segment.
Cleverly studied design
Combining a sporty and chic design, the watches in this collection, with their meticulously polished 316L stainless steel case treated in black PVD, their luminescent nickel-plated hands, their dial with luminous indexes, their skeleton movement revealing the complexity of the watchmaking mechanics, and their vintage-style perforated leather straps, is designed not to go unnoticed.

The Frontenac LC9S Collection
At the heart of manufacturing
A moving skeleton
This new range is based on a case similar to the Frontenac LC9 collection with its lateral grooves machined in steel to accentuate the sporty aspect of the watch.
The Swiss-made skeleton movement is treated in black PVD to give it a more upscale finish, and reveals almost all of the cogs composing it.
A personalized rotor with the “Louis Chevrolet” engraving and also treated to give it its final color, complete the specific stages of the production of these models.
A discreet leitmotif
The high-quality sapphire crystal with two-sided anti-reflective treatment highlights the quality and perceived value of the watches in the Frontenac LC9S collection.
As a reminder of Louis Chevrolet's tenacity during his explorations of mechanics, his motto “Never Give Up” is also engraved on the case.

The world of assembly
Delicate handling
Assembling and fitting a skeleton watch requires even more attention than a traditional model, the handling of the movements must be done carefully in order to avoid dust and other particles that could get lodged in the cogs and disrupt their proper functioning. . This is why our watchmakers assemble these timepieces in a controlled environment.
Rigorous control
The final aesthetic check is also of upmost importance during the watch assembly process.
Having a movement that is also visible requires an in-depth inspection of the mechanisme, the case, and all of the other components, in order to ensure that all the elements of the watch meet the required standards.
Only once these verifications have been carried out, the watch is to be offered for sale.
