Louis Chevrolet had many sources of inspiration throughout his life, and one was undoubtedly his friend Amélie Earhart. She was the first woman to cross the Atlantic by plane in 1928. In 1932, she made this perilous crossing alone, a faithful ambassador of Louis' motto: Never Give Up.

Having the same goal as the pioneers of Louis' era, namely to push the limits in order to be as innovative as possible, the Number 8 LC6 collection aims to revolutionize the way of wearing a watch by focusing on the strap.

N ° 8, the lucky number

With this new collection, we wanted to add glamor to the assortment of watches we offer and above all to respond to a demand identified from our customers, namely to change straps extremely easily.

Several paths were explored before finally the concept of the changing wheell was adopted, which makes it possible to initiate the change of style through the strap with great ease, and which also proved to be the most aesthetic. In homage to Louis Chevrolet's favorite number, we have decided to call this collection "Number 8".

One watch - Several styles

The fastening solution found, all that was left was to imagine a way to combine several styles into a single watch. We therefore worked on the range of compatible straps.
The originality of the proposed straps is in fully reversible silicone straps, with a unique color on one side and an original pattern on the other, adding a touch of fantasy and freshness to the composition.

How to change the strap?

From now on, changing the strap on your watch becomes child's play:

1. Rotate the wheel - A red dot appears
2. Orient and remove the strap
3. Insert the new strap with the same insertion angle
4. Rotate the wheel again.

Double security

The red dot on the wheel indicates whether it is locked or not. In order to guarantee the hold of the watch on the wrist even if the hatch is open, it is necessary to orient the strap in a specific position in order to be able to remove it.

In order to allow as many strap-watch combinations as possible, the white dial has been lacquered to accentuate its sobriety.

Details that make the difference

A high-resistance mineral crystal with a specific coating to prevent refections completes the elements forming the watch.

In order to make the use of reversible silicone straps possible, a bespoke buckle, allowing use in either direction, was also produced.

The world of watch assembly

Under the magnifying glass

Before the final assembly of the watch, all of its components are inspected and tested to ensure their impeccable quality.

This step also includes the leather straps with their axis and fixing screws, as well as the reversible silicone straps with their printed pattern and the specific buckle.

Expert hands

The assembly is then done through the expert hands of our watchmakers, who use all their skill to ensure that the watches they assemble will meet the defined standards.

It is only after the successfully passed water resistance test and a final visual check of the watches that they are placed on the market.
